The Ansbach Choppers Hockey Team kicked off it’s first season in the fall of 2010. Most all players are connected in some way with the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, which is Headquarted in Ansbach/Katterbach Germany. Our team logo has a Griffin holding a hockey stick with a combination of Orange and Royal Blue colors – the colors of the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade.

The team is comprised mainly of Soldiers, DOD Civilians and Contractors. Home ice is at the Nurnberg Ice Arena.

German Players are welcome to join and play in hobby league games.
